The ninth edition is an attempt to deal with the subject of femininity – not only with the stereotypes that are associated with it, but also with its extremes.
In Poland, on the one hand we have radical feminists and on the other, guardians of conservative values, upholding the role of the subservient woman in a patriarchal society. In the middle of the issue we find an image of the archetype of the athletic, educated, slim, ageless successful woman, whose main feature is multitasking. Where does the truth lie? Perhaps the answer can be found in one of the 120 pages of the issue, which contains articles about celebrities and forgotten female writers, statistics, advice, short stories, visual essays, astrology readings, recipes, a poetry corner, and matrimonial adverts.
