The first issue of The Worst Magazine Ever  was experimental. It was a B1 sheet printed on both sides, folded six times. In reference to classic magazines, a vignette and an editorial footer were created. The issue contains an interview with Edward Dwurnik, a photo essay by Jacek Ostaszewski, a critical text about Israeli comics, and a recipe for apple cider by secretaries of the dean’s office from the Graphics Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. On the back is a poster of a large éclair with the caption “This is not an éclair,” ironically referring to the work of René Magritte. The poster’s usefulness is negligible, as when unfolded to its proper format, the paper is so deeply creased that it cannot be properly hung.

The premiere of The Worst Magazine Ever took place at Raster Gallery in Warsaw.
